Detailed Description

UrnConcern is a trademark and division of Medcare Products. UrnConcern cremation urns are manufactured from top quality materials by skilled crafts people. Each urn is carefully inspected before packaging. Many UrnConcern designs have been copied over the years, but those manufacturers have cut corners on quality of materials and craftsmanship.

Made in the USA. That's something we don't see too often. Each Timberlane urn is hand made and hand finished by a craftsman with many years of woodworking under his belt.
It's important to point out that this cremation urn is produced from genuine wood - real American cherry - not pine that was stained to look like cherry and not a veneer, which is a thin slice of real wood glued over cheaper wood.  Timberlane cremation urns are hand rubbed with six coats of laquer to give you a lasting, natural finish. You are purchasing a true, American made product that will become an heirloom.

Timberlane cremation urns are created using a very special, almost lost style of carpentry. It is call Stile and Rail.  Stile and Rail is a woodworking technique often used in the making of doors, wainscoting, and other decorative features for cabinets, furniture, and homes. The basic idea is to capture a 'floating' panel within a sturdy frame, as opposed to techniques used in making a slab solid wood cabinet door or drawer front, the door is constructed of several solid wood pieces running in a vertical or horizontal direction with exposed engrains. Usually, the panel is not glued to the frame but is left to 'float' within it so that seasonal movement of the wood comprising the panel does not distort the frame.
